Timothy was encouraged by the author if the pastoral letters to "rekindle the flame." We need to do that, too. It's not that our faith is inauthentic, or that it burns out, but simply that being Gospel people requires us to burn so brightly in our communities that our spiritual fuel gets consumed. So we need to rekindle the flame. Because we need also to blaze.
