Am I Enough Enough?

Passage: Matthew 3:13-17

Today we talked about the baptism of Jesus. We talked about what baptism means, and we asked the question: if baptism means what tradition dictates, why did Jesus need to be baptized? Questions like that lead us to ponder what Christ achieved in his life, and his death, and his resurrection, and they force us to wonder at the unconditional Grace of God.

How could we earn that? Who am I that God should love me so much? Am I strong enough to deserve that? Am I smart enough? Kind enough? Generous enough?

Whatever it is we're pondering, the response comes that whoever we are, we're enough enough for God, as we are.
